I Was Sucker Punched - Life Lessons for Entrepreneurs

I keep hearing scary stories about how coronavirus is going to kill us all but my experience was quite different. I survived and I've had worse flu. I wonder if it's possible people are just more afraid of the unknown than what it really is. In this video, I talk about statistics, doctors, fever, coughing and more as well as things I did to help me get through it without risking my health

Bad clients, if you're in business, you have them. If you're starting business, you will have bad clients.... No matter how well you do at writing a contract, there will be that occasional client who will find a hole and torture you with it. Make changes and move on! Don't be afraid to fire a client. We take for gran ted that the music we listen to was just easy for those singer songwriter musicians but it was lot years of practice. Ray is still relevant today.. We bought album back then not knowing 41 years later it still sounds good.. He put a lot true messages in his songs.. LB February 2022
This is my favorite song !!! I was born in 76. When my grandmother passed, my family were cleaning out the apartment, my mother handed me one of my grandmother's bags. In it was a few items, but one item in particular was a white cassette tape which was a ray parker jr. A woman needs love on one side and another song on the other side. That always was weird to me.😇

Thanks, I appreciate your comments. I have recovered 100% (which was a surprise to my doctor who expected long term damage to the eye)... It's crazy to think walking to a restaurant is dangerous these days.

Hey Ray! I'm digging the acoustic version of, You Can't Change That! But it would have been nice if you were slapping that chrome plated bass of yours. I saw you in concert when Raydio was on tour and you guys rock the house. The coolest part was when you took you bass out in the audience and the ladies gathered around you and you couldn't get back of stage! :-D That was a great time for music and your band. Keep up the GREAT work!

My whole family wound up getting it including me. WOW. Me and my son had VERY mild symptoms. We didn't even know we had it. My husband had it worse but he recovered just fine.
I get the sense I had it pretty bad but I've had way worse flu so I felt it made sense to share my experience. My hope being that people won't freak out so much. It's the flu! It's not the Spanish Flu or we would have millions dead already.
@@greencertifiedweb that's good that you shared your experience. I agree that people won't be so anxious but still take precautions. There are so many different symptoms that I didn't even know I had it. I also had much much worse. I had scarlet fever as a child. Thanks so much for sharing your experience.☺

Thank you for this great video, it's always helpful to have people who have "gone before" us in any area of life, but especially in business!! I totally agree that contracts are a must, and appreciate very much your honesty in saying to "fire" bad clients... I had to do that many times in my former business!
Thanks for your thoughts. It's sometimes tough to talk about these subjects because I usually screwed up to some degree, even if it was just trusting the wrong person... But I believe if others can learn from my mistakes, it is worth it!

This virus is screwing everything up. Can't even make a proper living in Utah right now. Stuck at home and need your computer, TV, game console, phone, or WTF ever fixed? Nah, you're not essential. Bullshit.
After Binging "Community" while I was sick, I started looking for things to learn. Mostly how to do RUclips videos :)
I have a fever...and the only prescription...is more cowbell.
I had it and I understand how people who don't get right in bed and take care of themselves can die. It's like pneumonia that you ignore. I had that awful flu a few years ago,too. However, COVID19 was very different. I kept wondering what it was that I had. No sore throat. No sniffles and sneezes. No sense of taste. Temp was only 101 but chills were awful. Lungs felt like concrete. I also slept like a rock. Kept a heating pad on my chest. Took Mucinex. Drank lots of chicken soup with lots of hot sauce. All that helped break up the chest congestion, which is the important thing.
I think you nailed it, "like pneumonia that you ignore" but don't ignore it! But considering we're both in the "high risk" category, it says a lot we didn't die!
